NEWS TOP 10 DOWNLOADS POSTED!!!August 25, 2010 Check out the top 10 iTunes downloads for August!!! Just scroll down and see left-hand panel. Tanya Donelly, and Dala both have two tracks in the top 10 this month. Trespassers William moves into the #1 spot, while Jenny Owen Youngs jumps 8 spots from last month enjoying the 2nd most downloaded song for August. Dean & Britta's beautiful cover of "Friday I'm In Love" continues to place in the top 10 for the 4th month in a row, as does Stars Smiths cover of "Asleep", and Lori McKenna's Neil Young "The Needle and the Damage Done". Speaking of Lori... she covered Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" for our 80's Teen Film tribute long before she hooked-up with Faith Hill, was featured on Oprah, and signed to Warner Brothers Records. August 14, 2010 As previously announced, AM's Simple Minds cover "Don't You (Forget About Me)" will be featured in the film "Easy A" out Sept 17th from Sony Pictures. We just learned the track will also appear on the soundtrack album being put out by Madison Gate Records (Salt, Eat Pray Love, Grown Ups). Check out AM's cover from High School Reunion, and their killer originals from Transistor.

Allison's worked with The New Pornographers, M. Ward, Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco, Spoon, The National, Rilo Kiley, and so many other great artists. We can't wait to share the design with you.
August 2, 2010 Every year we tie one on and do a huge summer special exclusively for our direct mail order customers. Today we spent the entire day at the beach drinking Joe's infamous Red Wine Sangria... so please forgive us if we're incoherent. We just reduced all CD's to $8.00 and vinyl to $2.00 for a VERY LIMITED TIME. T-Shirts were also reduced to $13.00 which is pretty F$#%ing awesome considering they cost us about that much to screenprint anyway. So please take advantage of us within the next 24 hours because once we sober up... all CD's and Merch will go back to regular price.
